Dear Friends and Constituents of the 6th Congressional District of Virginia,

I wish to thank you for all your support in the past, and I am very excited about the next three months of this political campaign.  It is amazing how quickly my name has spread up and down the Shenandoah Valley and beyond.  I am most pleased and humbled by the response that I am receiving.

Last Friday, I was also honored to be interviewed by Bob Corso, at WHSV television, which was broadcast on the evening news.  It was a great way to kick-off my campaign in my birth place of Harrisonburg, Va.   I received nothing but positive responses from the interview.  I also had the chance to display to the audience my new “symbolic” signs, which just had arrived.  “Faith … Our Families … Our Future” stand out on the signs.

So, on Monday, August 4, 2008, I officially started my walking and touring campaign, starting in Strasburg, down the old historical route of routes 11, and 42, branching off throughout each jurisdiction and county, stopping off at every village, town and city.  I will be ending my campaign in the south, in the Lynchburg, Roanoke/Salem areas.   And, I will be dropping off signs wherever I go and where it is permitted.

Thank you, again, and I look forward to serving you in this District, with grace, understanding, and firmness as we venture through some of the most difficult times of our lives, with the national debt in tremendous proportions and our bank accounts continue to suffer from what has transpired with no leadership and vision, especially from our Republican who now represents us in office.

I will represent every individual in this District, with no party ties, nor any allegiance to any corporations, nor any connections to a particular group.  I will stand firmly representing the United States Constitution, and supporting our freedoms our Fore Fathers were most conscientious about giving to us.
