Congratulations to Goodlatte and Thanks to all who supported me!
Like Governor Palin, thinking about running again.

-- Born to fight for your individual rights: For all citizens of this Nation --
We MUST get to the core of all issues!
It is time for YOUR voice to be heard in Congress!
Janice Lee Allen, PhD comes from 8 generations in the Shenandoah Valley of farmers, laborers, and business owners. She believes very strongly in "Seeking Truth, Justice, Mercy in Government, and Economic Prosperity."
Janice worked in Government, private industry, and in education for 18 years in Northern Virginia. For the past 14 years, she has owned and operated her own real estate investment business in Harrisonburg, Va. For more information on Janice and her issues, [click here].
She is an advocate for peace, thorough research and negotiations,
before the sounds of war. Janice is the author of the book: Peace or War. Regarding the Iraq war, Janice believes we should bring our troops home now. It's time for the Iraqi people to take responsibility.
Janice, as your Congresswoman, will fight to get to the core of all issues. For instance, she is a strong supporter in the need for more medical research. Too many people die each year alone from heart and cancer diseases. She also feels we must enhance existing, and research to discover new alternative energy resources. This she proposes doing with the creation of a new government sponsored program for combined medical and energy research, modeled after the Manhattan Project of World War II. Her first bill she will propose as your Congresswoman will be: Reinvigorating Our Economy with New Job Creation. This Bill will put more funding into research projects in major universities for science,
energy and medical research. Allen proposes more monies be granted to state universities as
James Madison University, the University of Virginia, and Va. Tech, and for there
to be a creation of a major research/technology center located in a tri-city location,
in the Roanoke City area. [Click here for Press Release].
Allen is also a proponent of mass transit, and the dire need for transit to be available
from Northern Virginia to the Winchester/Strasburg area. In time, after the construction
of the northern corridor, she is supportive of the expansion of the Mass Transit to the
Roanoke/Salem area and, from the north, through the Charlottesville and Lynchburg areas.
We need to do all we can to help people get to work, in a cost savings and timely manner.
"Give me Liberty or Give me Death"
Patrick Henry, the first Governor of the State of Virginia
