Janice Lee Allen, PhD comes from 8 generations in the Shenandoah Valley of farmers, laborers, and business owners. She believes very strongly in "Seeking Truth, Justice, Mercy in Government, and Economic Prosperity."

Janice has worked in both the government and in the private sector. For the past 14 years, Janice has owned and operated her own real estate business. She is also the founder of, and is a speaker for Divine Wisdom Seminars, L.L.C. The Seminars are inspirational, teaching groups and individuals how to think positive thoughts and achieving their fullest potential in life. The ultimate desire: To invigorate new hope, purpose, and vision, for a better tomorrow, into the homes in America.

The Seminars are currently on hold due to Janice's campaign schedule.

She is an advocate for peace, thorough research and negotiations, before the sounds of war. Janice is the author of the book: Peace or War.

Janice, as your Congresswoman, will fight to get to the core of all issues.  For instance, she is a strong supporter in the need for more medical research to eradicate diseases.  Too many people die each year alone from heart and cancer diseases.  She also feels we must enhance existing, and research to discover new alternative energy resources.  This she proposes doing with the creation of a new government sponsored program, agency, for combined medical and energy research.
